Agencies

White label for agencies

Give your clients ZicReach under your own brand: your name, logo, colours, sign-in page, domain, email sender and tracking domain. For plans that include white label.

What white label is

White label lets an agency give its clients the whole app under the agency's own brand. Your clients sign in at your own address, for example app.youragency.com, and see your name, logo and colours on every page, on the sign-in page, in the emails the app sends them and in the name of the AI assistant.

You set it up once in Settings, White label. Each client then gets a workspace of their own in Settings, Clients (see Client workspaces for agencies).

1 Read the guide. 2 Brand name and assistant name. 3 Logo, dark mode logo, favicon and sign-in picture. 4 Colours and the preview.

Which plan includes it

  • White label is part of the bigger plans (Scale). Compare plans at https://zicreach.com/pricing or in Settings, Plan & billing. On a plan without it, the page says White label is included in bigger plans and offers See plans.
  • Only the workspace owner can change white label. Anyone else sees the line Only the workspace owner can change white label.
  • White label belongs to the workspace you set it up in: your agency workspace. A client workspace never has a brand of its own, so White label and Clients are not in its Settings.
  • Missing from Settings? Switch to your agency workspace with the switcher at the top of the menu, or ask its owner.

Set up your brand

  1. Open Settings, then White label.
  2. Under Brand, enter your Brand name. It replaces our name everywhere your clients look. Add an Assistant name if you want the AI assistant to have its own name, for example Nova.
  3. Under Images, choose your Logo, a Logo for dark mode, a Favicon (the small icon in the browser tab) and a Sign-in picture. Each one shows a preview as soon as you pick it.
  4. Under Colours, pick your Primary, Primary hover, Accent, Sidebar background and Sidebar text colours. The preview next to them shows a menu and a button in your colours.
  5. Under Sign-in page, write the Title and Subtitle of your sign-in page and choose who may sign up.
  6. Under Links, add your Website, Support page, Support email, Help docs, Terms of use and Privacy policy.
  7. Click Save branding. You can come back and change anything at any time.

Connect your own domain

  1. Save your branding first. The Custom domain card then shows a Domain field.
  2. Enter a subdomain you own, for example app.youragency.com, and click Add domain. Use a subdomain, not your main domain such as youragency.com.
  3. The card now shows the DNS records to add: a CNAME record, and sometimes a TXT record. Each has a Type, a Name / Host (the short name, for example app) and a Value, with a Copy button next to each.
  4. Add that CNAME record where you manage your domain's DNS. The next section shows where that is at the common providers.
  5. Wait for the status to move from Waiting for DNS to Setting up SSL to Active. It is checked for you every few minutes; click Check now to check again straight away.
  6. When it says Active, open your domain: the sign-in page shows your brand. Give that address to your clients.
1 Your domain and its status. 2 The CNAME record to add at your DNS provider. 3 Check now. 4 The tracking domain.

Add the CNAME at your DNS provider

  • Every provider asks for the same three things: the type (CNAME), the name or host (the short name the page shows, for example app) and the value, target or points to (the address the page shows).
  • GoDaddy: open My Products, pick your domain, open DNS and click Add New Record. Type CNAME, Name app, Value the target from the page. Save.
  • Namecheap: open Domain List, click Manage next to your domain, open Advanced DNS and click Add New Record, CNAME Record. Host app, Value the target. Click the tick to save.
  • Cloudflare: open your domain, then DNS, Records, and click Add record. Type CNAME, Name app, Target the target. Set Proxy status to DNS only (the grey cloud), then Save.
  • Hostinger: open Domains, pick your domain, open DNS / Nameservers and add a record. Type CNAME, Name app, Points to the target. Bluehost, Squarespace and others: look for DNS records, DNS zone or Zone editor and add it the same way.
  • Type the Name / Host exactly as the page shows it (app, or _cf-custom-hostname.app for a TXT record): GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger and Cloudflare add your domain by themselves. A few providers want the full name; the page shows it under each name (for example app.youragency.com).
  • Remove any existing A, AAAA, ALIAS or CNAME record on the same name first (for example an A record for app). A name can hold a CNAME and nothing else.
  • If the card lists a TXT record (its name starts with _cf-custom-hostname), add it the same way. It proves the domain is yours.

How long verification takes

  • Usually a few minutes after you save the record. Some DNS providers take a few hours, and in rare cases up to 48 hours.
  • SSL (the padlock and https) is set up for you as soon as the CNAME is found. You never buy or upload a certificate, and it renews by itself.
  • Waiting for DNS: we can't see your records yet. Setting up SSL: the records are found and the certificate is being issued. Active: your domain is live. Needs attention: the line under the domain says what to fix; checks carry on by themselves.
  • Checked 4 minutes ago shows when the last check ran. Your brand goes live the first time a domain becomes Active.
  • You can have one app domain at a time. To change it, click Remove (your clients can no longer reach the app there) and add the new one.
  • Custom domains are unavailable right now. Please try again later. means the domain service is down for a moment. Your saved branding is not affected.

Email sender

Emails the app sends to your clients (sign-in and password reset links, email confirmations, team invitations, alerts and support replies) come from the sender you choose under Email sender. Campaign and warmup emails are not affected: they always go from your clients' own mailboxes.

1 Our email service or your own SMTP server. 2 From name and address. 3 Your SMTP server. 4 Save, then send a test.

Choose the sender and send a test

  1. Save your branding first, then go to Email sender on the White label page.
  2. Pick Our email service, under your brand name (the default; nothing to set up), or Your own SMTP server.
  3. Enter the From name (your brand name when empty) and the From address. With our email service, the From address is used as the reply-to address.
  4. For your own SMTP server, enter the SMTP server, Port, Encryption, Username and Password from your email provider.
  5. Click Save email sender. With your own server, click Send test email: one email goes to your own address through it, and any error is shown on the page.

Settings reference: email sender

  • Our email service, under your brand name: emails come from our sending service with your brand name, logo and links, and replies go to your From address.
  • Your own SMTP server: emails come from your From address through your server. From address, SMTP server, Username and Password are required.
  • Port: 587 by default (1 to 65535). Encryption: STARTTLS (the default, usually with port 587), SSL/TLS (usually with port 465) or None.
  • The password is stored encrypted and never shown again. Leave it blank to keep the saved one.
  • If your server refuses an email later, we send it through our service instead, still under your brand, so a password reset is never lost.
  • Use an address on your own domain with SPF and DKIM set up at your email provider, so the emails land in the inbox.

Tracking domain

  1. Open, click and unsubscribe links in your clients' campaigns use your tracking domain, for example track.youragency.com, unless a client workspace adds its own under Deliverability.
  2. Under Tracking domain, enter a subdomain (a different one from your app domain) and click Add tracking domain.
  3. Add the records it shows at your DNS provider, with the short Name, the same way as for your app domain.
  4. Click Check now until it shows Active. SSL is set up for you here too.
  5. The unsubscribe page names your client's company, never ours. Click Remove to stop using the tracking domain.

What your clients see

  • Your brand name, logo, colours and favicon on every page and on the sign-in page at your domain.
  • The AI assistant under your assistant name. Our name is replaced by yours in the pages, the emails and the in-app guide.
  • No Plan & billing and no Affiliates. The upgrade button says Contact your brand to upgrade, and inside a client workspace it is not shown at all: their plan and billing are your business.
  • No support chat from us. Help & Docs shows Contact support with your support page or email, when you set one.
  • The in-app guide under your name, without screenshots and without the topics about billing, affiliates and white label.
  • The API on your domain: the API keys page shows your domain as the address to call.
  • When a client connects a Google or Microsoft mailbox, the Google or Microsoft permission screen shows the name of the sign-in app, not your brand. Everything around it stays yours.
