Writing emails
Personalize with variables, check for spam words and preview the real email.
Personalization
Click the Personalize button in the editor to insert a variable. You can choose lead info, custom variables from your list or CSV, and sender info such as the sender's first name or signature.
Add a fallback after a bar for when a value is missing. For example {{first_name|there}} becomes "Hi there" when the first name is empty.
Spam check
- Click Spam check in the editor toolbar.
- Review the words it flags in the subject and body.
- Pick a plainer word to replace it everywhere.
Editor tools
- Bold, italic, underline, text size, alignment and links.
- Insert adds spin text, a divider or an image from a link.
- Add more than one subject and body to test versions against each other.
- Draft messages with AI, on the Overview tab, writes a first draft from a short description of your goal.
Preview
Click Preview the real email on the Overview tab to see the email exactly as a lead will get it, with the variables filled in. Pick a step at the top to preview a follow-up. A red line warns when a variable has no value and no fallback.
