Deliverability
Check your domain records and blocklists so your mail reaches the inbox, and manage tracking domains and suppressions.
Domains
For each mailbox you see its MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks, whether its domain is on a blocklist, and whether it is ready to send. The totals at the top count mailboxes, those ready to send and those that need attention.
Click Re-check all after you change your DNS records. The note next to it says when the last check ran.
Fix a failing check
- Click the mailbox on the Deliverability page to see which record is missing or wrong, under Domain records, Domain blocklists and Sending server.
- Add or correct that record where you manage your domain.
- Wait a little for the change to spread, then click Re-check on the mailbox (or Re-check all).
Custom tracking domain
- Under Custom tracking domain, enter a subdomain such as track.yourdomain.com and click Add.
- Create the DNS record shown where you manage your domain.
- Click Verify, then Activate. Open and click tracking links then use your own domain.
Suppression list
- Addresses here are never contacted: bounces, unsubscribes and any you add.
- Enter an address under Add an address and click Suppress.
- The Blocklist on the Campaigns page works the same way for addresses you block by hand.
Email verifier
- Open the Email verifier tab. If it says verification is unavailable, connect your own verifier under Settings, Integrations, or try again later. To check one address, type it under Check one address and click Check.
- For a list, click New verification and paste addresses, upload a .csv or .xlsx file, or pick a table, CRM list or campaign. Up to 10,000 addresses at a time.
- Click Continue to see how many addresses there are and what it costs. Under Verify with, pick the ZicReach verifier (credits per address) or your own connected verifier (no credits), then Start verification. It runs in the background; you can leave the page or cancel it.
- Each address is marked Valid, Accepts mail, Catch-all (risky), Role address, Disposable, Invalid or Unknown, with the reason. Unknown results are not charged.
- Export all, valid only or invalid only as CSV, add the valid addresses to a table or campaign, remove the invalid ones from the table or campaign they came from, or add them to the suppression list.
Tips
- Ask ZicAgent "How is my deliverability?" for a summary with suggested fixes.
- A mailbox on a blocklisted domain should stop sending campaigns until the listing is removed. Keep warmup on.
