Record your screen

Record your screen with your voice and camera, then share a link, collect comments or download the video.

Make a recording

  1. Open Recordings from the menu, in either module, and click New recording.
  2. Give it a title, an optional description and pick a quality. Qualities your plan does not include are marked Upgrade.
  3. Choose Microphone, Camera bubble and Tab or system audio, then click Start recording.
  4. The ZicReach recorder opens in its own window. Pick the screen, window or tab to record (choose Entire screen to record everything).
  5. Keep working. When you stop, the video saves to your library by itself.

Your library

  • Every recording in the workspace, with its length, size, date, who made it and whether it is shared.
  • The line at the top shows how many recordings you have out of your plan's maximum.
  • If the browser blocked the recorder window, click Open the recorder.

Share, comment or download

  1. Open the recording from the library.
  2. Under Share, choose how long the link works (Never expires, 1, 7, 30 or 90 days) and click Share. Anyone with the link can watch without signing in. Copy the link to send it.
  3. People with the link can comment. Only your team sees their email addresses. Click Turn comments off to close them, or the bin to delete a comment.
  4. Click Turn sharing off to stop the link working. Sharing again gives a new link.
  5. Click Download to save the original video file.

Plans and limits

  • Recording is for paid plans. It is not available during a free trial; upgrade to record. Recordings made before stay viewable and shareable.
  • Your plan sets the best quality (up to 4K), the minutes per recording, the number of recordings and the storage.
  • Everyone in the workspace can record, using the workspace owner's plan.
  • Deleting a recording frees its space.
